ABM offers a wide range of sailing and rowing experiences for all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to get out on the water in the summer! Sailing and rowing programs make use of not only modern small craft but also historic small craft.
Meet our Sailing Team:
Lily Gray – Lead Sailing Instructor
Lily is a US Sailing Level 1 instructor (O18) who has been with the museum since 2023. She is currently studying criminal justice at SUNY Potsdam. Lily started at the museum as a Waterfront Crew and discovered her love of sailing from watching the students in the ABM classes.
Colin Treatman-Clark – Sailing Instructor
Colin is a US Sailing Level 1 instructor (O18) who has been with the museum since 2023. He is currently a freshman at William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA, and looking forward to studying politics. Colin has been sailing since he could walk, and came over to the Museum after sailing with our good friends over at TI Park Yacht Club.
Matthew Treatman-Clark – Sailing Instructor
