Beginning Sailing #3
Note: This class was previously known as Junior Sailing.
The overall intent of this week-long class is to have students be able to sail out and back in a wide-open space with a partner. Students will learn knots and the basics of sailing. Students will primarily utilize the sunfish and optimists in this class with occasional activities on C420s.
Ages: 8-12
Cost*: $180 non-members | $162 members
*Tuition pricing does not include 6% registration fee charged by FareHarbor.
Goal: basics of sailing on an Opti/Sunfish with a partner
Due to the limited number of spaces available in the Beginning Sailing program, the Museum must restrict registrations to one session per student. Students wishing to attend a second session will be added to a waitlist.
All sessions will be held from 12:30am-4:00pm unless otherwise noted.
