Description
Teacher Mikaela Benny was born and raised in Alexandria Bay, NY located in the heart of the 1000 Islands. A graduate of Alexandria Central School, Mikaela went on to earn degrees in both Media & Society and Writing & Rhetoric from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. A lot of her writing is influenced by her beautiful hometown and the St. Lawrence River. All of her children’s books are written with the hopes that all children will fall in love with reading at a young age just as she did.
