The Dr. Fred Thomas Gallery exhibits The St. Lawrence Skiff: Our Indigenous Watercraft. The exhibit shows why this special small craft developed here on the River primarily as a fishing vessel and how it came to be much more—from a family’s utility boat, to a pleasure craft, to a racing machine!
