Power Boats & Rowing Skiffs

Situated on one of the loveliest harbors in the 1000 Islands, the Antique Boat Museum offers every visitor a perfect setting for getting on the water and enjoying the wonderful St. Lawrence River. Step off our docks and on to a boat for fast-paced action or relaxing fun. We promise you’ll experience the 1000 Islands in a whole new way! Please note that all on-water programs are weather-dependent, and the Museum reserves the right to cancel and re-book boat rides.

Hacker-Craft Triple-Cockpit Runabout

Would you like to thunder down the River in a gleaming mahogany Hacker-Craft triple-cockpit runabout? Every hour on the hour through the summer our ride boat departs for a thrilling 45-minute run through the islands. Register for a ride in the triple-cockpit runabout at the Admissions desk when you arrive.

Cost is $25/ person with a maximum of 6 people per ride.

Row a St. Lawrence Skiff for Free!

Those seeking a more tranquil experience on the water can take a quiet row in a traditional St. Lawrence Skiff on the protected waters of French Creek Bay. During the summer months, attendants are on hand daily in the Skiff Livery to help you get on the water. Use of the skiffs is included with Museum admission, but donations to help with the upkeep of the boats are gratefully accepted. Our skiffs vary in size, but 2-3 people is a comfortable crew for one boat.
